== Personality ==
Have you ever heard the phrase "If you flipped to this word in a dictionary you would see this person"? Sahar is the dictionary. Secrets, details, and buried regrets; None are hidden from Sahar, she is to the point, quick, witty, and knows more than about you than you hope. In turn, getting to know people this well creates a very empathetic, and fair Sahar. Never one to call the guillotine down without just cause, or for her own amusement. Such things would be a disgrace to everything she embodies.

When alone, she is curious, learning all she can about the world, it's history, and the people within it, so she may share it with those closest to her, or to reveal it when it's needed most. With family she's most comfortable, leaving the perfect form and sharp eyes to rest, instead cracking jokes and discussing the latest gossip. Above most things, she's here to live how she wants, and to be kind to those who deserve it.

== History ==

Sahar originally outlived the one who made her, left with a vague directive to "Maintain law and order". Wandering from place to place throughout [[Olvunter]], she eventually arrived in Kara seeking a more permanent assignment—A place where she would be necessary.

Accepted into the then [[Royal Guard]] without delay, she worked up through the ranks efficiently, finding a preference for case work over public affairs. She remained in the military as it became the [[King's Guard]] again, and then the [[Most Valiant Order of the Citadel]].

A squire system came with the Order's rebranding, and she was then propositioned by the Constable [[Hixan Firwen|Ser Hixan Firwen]]. They already worked together well often enough, and it was a joint maneuver made to continue their investigations.

It came with the success that they both hoped for. Sahar doubled down on her work, studied [[Kara]]'s history to know its precedents, and attended etiquette classes to fit into their society best. Her goal was, to her, perfectly achievable: to lay to rest all disturbances that lied within the state.

During this phase as well, Sahar met [[Hazel Firwen|Lord Mayor Hazel Firwen]], and grew close with them. In no time at all, they were like family, and Hazel eventually entrusted her with something that could help her keep the peace; the flintlock that had once belonged to [[Wy Azar]].

On the 29th of August in the 33rd Moon, she was knighted by [[Ulysses Mountbatten|King Ulysses I]] using the [[Prismarine Sword]]. What followed closely afterward was a no-contest appointment as a [[Constable|Constable of the Crown]], a position that eventually evolved into what [[Agent of the Crown]] would be known as, for enforcing the rules set by the Three Powers System.

In the months that followed, she married Hixan, taking on the Firwen last name.

Hixan is honest, above all other things. His values lie with what aligns best with the truth of a situation, and he is diligent in ensuring that he knows every detail.

When working, Hixan is precise, well spoken, and intuitive. If the situation calls for it, he can also be stern, bordering onto harsh if all else fails. It's what has given him his "scary" reputation, alongside his personal history.

Outside of work, Hixan is typically reserved and more soft-spoken, leaning towards listening rather than taking up the room. He opens up more with his family, however, becoming just animated enough to joke around—Usually by bickering with his sister, or by baiting a stern response out of his wife.

According to some old journals and recounts, he was a nomad who eventually got involved with a criminal group of banished knights called The Ashen Rose, and their plot against Stone Bay, and [[Arimaex Glisk]]. Supposedly Hixan assisted them in their escapades within the [[Living Sewers]] and beneath [[Arimaex's Tower of Bird Gander's]]. These actions led him down a path which involved many risky decisions and deals, eventually resulting in his disappearance after meeting [[The Gambler]] and [[The Khan]].

===Colony of the Ehrtfort===
Ten years after the events of [[Timeline#Season_1|Season 1]], a very different but familiar Hixan reappeared in Kara. Quickly he found a place to live, after an old acquaintance in [[Lyrinth]] told him of [[Nieseat]], [[The Ehrtfort]], and [[Macadier Maldore]]. Living in the colony gave him a simple life, with many people to call his friends, and work within the [[Ordenza]], the military of Nieseat. Hixan quickly rose through the ranks, sporting high strategic and combat prowess. While he trained the in early hours of the day, the later hours were spent with the leadership of the colony, particularly The Archon Macadier Maldore, which Hixan learned many things from. Through the months, Hixan became a very trusted resident of the Colony.

Eventually, Macadier came to Hixan with a task. He handed Hixan a [[Soul Rending Dagger]], and instructed him to kill the Hag known as [[Morgantha]]. Hixan accepted, agreeing that the Hag was too chaotic and dangerous to be allowed to live. After months of gaining Morgantha's trust, he stabbed her in the back; stealing her soul away into the blade. The same day, Hixan betrayed and murdered [[Ordren Stoneheart]], who was carrying the [[Azure Blade]]. [[Sillas Deepcreek]] would soon find out this atrocity had taken place. The dagger was taken from Hixan, and he was sent back to the colony lucky to be alive himself. The Azure Blade too would eventually find its way back into Stone Bay's hands, after [[Benjamin Lascelles]] obtained it from Hixan.

For an unknown reason, Hixan vanished from the colony, giving a short goodbye to The Archon before hiding elsewhere in Kara. A manhunt was headed by the Captain of the Ordenza [[Drace Latimeer]], who vowed to slay him for dereliction, though the manhunt was halted a week or so later by order of The Archon. Hixan decided to hide away in the depths of Dhara in [[Stendahl]], laying low for the time being before finally catching a boat off Kara, as he wished to travel and see what the rest of the world had to offer; but Hixan did not leave for long.

Months later Hixan arrived by boat to Kara once more, the [[Nieseatian War]] had ended, Macadier Maldore defeated, and the [[Kingdom of Stone Bay]] had rebuilt itself quickly. He found his way to Stone Bay, the place he conspired against, and had committed acts against, though perhaps not as grievous compared to the war. Regardless, Hixan attempted to restart his life there. He, among many other Nieseatians, were not blamed for the actions of [[Macadier Maldore|The Archon]], and so were given a chance to live their life as much as any other Karan. Hixan in particular was approached by none other than [[Ulysses Mountbatten]], who offered him a job. Hixan was an experienced soldier, somebody who had certain skills and values that could be used to solve problems, enforce the law, and most importantly to Hixan, offset what he had done to the Kingdom. He accepted the offer, becoming a constable in the [[Stone Bay Royal Constabulary]]. He was given housing, albeit small and cheap, but it was housing nonetheless. He was even given clothes in the form of tailcoats and of course, his new uniform. He began immediately, working along side the then Chief Inspector [[Akhiilor|Declan Domnhall]].

Hixan proved to be very capable in the eyes of the SBRC, he received promotions up to the rank of Inspector, marking him as a senior member of the Constabulary. For his service, he was knighted with a red sash (now denoting [[Knight of Kara]]). The months passed, and some reforms were in order, Bridget had left Kara. The political landscape of Stone Bay was changing, Hixan was selected as Chief Constable in this new system, and the Constabulary became a select few people, who became the main investigatory force of Stone Bay. It was around this time that Hixan was first offered the role of [[Royal Detective]], he'd work directly for the Crown, investigating matters of the highest sensitivity, serving his Kingdom to the highest degree someone like him could. He accepted immediately, and continued his routine, more and more criminals sentenced, the streets had never been cleaner.

After the events of [[Timeline#Season_3|Season 3]], The King had decided that it was time to retrieve the [[Prismarine Sword]], from where ever it had been lost. The preparations were made and a large group of Karans, armed to the teeth, stood in the Throne room. The sword did not appear alone, it was wielded by one [[Magnus Goldensong]], an old Stone Bay Count from long ago. He explained how he had gotten the sword, before things took a turn for the worst. The King was attacked, and Magnus fled the scene. Hixan did not stop until justice was brought to him, who had committed High Treason. Every chance he had, Hixan attempted to kill Magnus Goldensong, in the Streets of Stone Bay where Magnus attempted to sway the people for his cause, and at the home of [[Hallycon Craydark]] who Magnus tried to murder. Eventually Hixan was successful, getting the final strike on Goldensong while wielding [[The Khan's Blade]], securing the Prismarine Sword for the Kingdom, and ending a time of strife and paranoia. It was for his continued service, and these great acts that Hixan was knighted into [[The Most Noble Order of the Bay]], the highest honor he could receive. (WIP)

Acting as the [[Ulysses Mountbatten|Sovereign]]'s administrative assistant, her job consists of copious amounts of paperwork and writing. Malena did not always aspire to work for the Crown in such an intimate way, and has caused a fair amount of trouble in the past.

== Personality ==
While in the past Malena was quite friendly, she was also quite naive. Loss after loss, betrayal after betrayal, she became a hardened version of herself- and her soft edges began to harden. Despite her small and frail appearance, anyone who has been around for a while knows not to cross her- lest they be pelted by the bullets of her revolver. While she would never intentionally do anything to harm the Kingdom, she is not against using her position to lock people out of climbing the ladder of power.

Despite this, Malena holds a ''fierce'' loyalty to the Throne and the Kingdom. Her commitment is well known, though people tend to not realize she would do ''anything'' she is told by those above her- even if the order is to slaughter someone she loves.

Her edges are not all rough however, as anyone who has seen her in the presence of her multitudes of pets knows of her soft side. She holds love, just not much of it- and especially not for those who simply exist to waste her time. However, it's not uncommon for her to offer information and answers to those brave enough to ask.

Not much is known about her life before Kara, with herself not even knowing. Her first memories consist of waking in a grave under the netherrack, and her (now former) name- Vanya Umbris. She arrived in Kara formally in the year 902 AJ. While many records from the time are lost, it's no secret that Malena got into quite a bit of trouble during her earlier years in Kara. More than once she was chased and arrested for trespassing, and eventually assault on an officer- [[Akhiilor]], whom she punched in the face during an escapade into the walls of the [[City of Stone Bay|City]]. A few months into her living in Kara, she was reforged into a dwarf and formally joined the Towerlord Family, a high-noble family within the (formerly) [[Duchy of Stendhal|Kingdom of Stendahl]]- wherein she changed her name to Malena Towerlord.

For many years Malena lived as a dwarf within Stendahl, with her grandfather Corellian Towerlord and her mother Avalencia Towerlord. While much of her time was spent kicking up trouble with the authorities, she often attempted to make friends with whoever she could. She worked in the wheat fields of her home, and occasionally assisted in the administration and running of her family's domain- the Lonely Fields. Despite this, she never held any official job title during her time in Stendahl.

Like many within Stendahl at the time, she worshipped the goddess [[Moder Jord]]- who was later revealed to Kara to be evil. Despite this revelation, Malena still found herself within the worship of the Goddess- who she had found herself attached to. Eventually, Malena would begin to hear the Goddess speaking to her- encouraging her to build shrines across the lands of Kara, which she did.

During this time, she found herself in relatively good graces within the Kingdom of Stone Bay, where she was hired by a member of the Mountbatten family to work as a Page within the [[Prismarine Citadel]]. As the first Page withing the Citadel in the modern day, her job was quite vague- though she often assisted members of the Royal Family with various tasks and kept watch of the entrance to the Citadel. During this time, Malena was arrested by [[Henry Sharpe]] after confessing to building a shrine to Moder Jord on [[Parliament Island]]. While only formally charged with ''"building without a permit"'', she recieved a threat from [[Sillas Deepcreek|Chaplain Sillas Deepcreek]], who threatened to try her in the then existing ''Court of the Deep''. She was not tried, and was ultimately shown mercy by Stone Bay.

Eventually the persuasions of Moder Jord became more demented, and she was compelled to kill her grandfather ''(Corellian Towerlord)'' while he was in a magically-induced coma. Though she resisted the demand, she informed her mother of the situation. After her grandfather awoke, she was disowned by her family. During this time, Malena joined the [[Church of the Deep]].

During her work as a page, her duties had become more than simple tasks, evolving into submitting reports of those whom she interacted with, some being 40 pages long. This caught the attention of Benjamin Lascelles, who was acting [[Prime Minister of Stone Bay]]. After her disownment, she went to the one place that had never lied or betrayed her- the Kingdom of Stone Bay. She reached out to Benjamin, who comforted her- eventually offering adoption, and entrance into his family. She took the opportunity, and became Malena Lascelles.

Her work evolved even more after the adoption, with her reports becoming weekly- and her general workload increasing.

=== The Seige of the Ehrtfort ===

As tensions arose between the Colony of the [[Ehrtfort]] and the rest of the Kingdom of Stone Bay, Malena quite often found herself tied up with diplomatic work between the Kingdom and the Colony. While gathering information on the Colony was a key aspect of her duties, she also found herself delivering a gun to the [[High Inquisitor]] on behalf of the Kingdom. This eventually led to her bringing the people of Stendahl to the Colony's land- which resulted in the death of Umeriad Stonebraid, an important religious figure in Stendahl at the time. It was shortly after this incident that Shasta Fablemaster ''(then known as Shasta Lascelles)'' was disowned from the Lascelles Family. It was around this time that Malena's health took a sharp decline.

Eventually the [[Nieseatian War]] began it's end, and Benjamin Lascelles was killed by the necromancer [[Metinos]] in the middle of the multi-day [[Seige of the Ehrtfort]]. In the same battle, Malena was also killed by Metinos, where a small part of her soul was taken by the Necromancer- which eventually made her health decline further. Though unlike her father, she awoke due to [[The Curse]] within the Ehrtfort itself. After a ceasefire was called by [[Bridget Maldore]], Malena was granted safe passage from the Ehrtfort to her own people.

Mere hours after being informed of her father's death, Malena was obliged to act immediately in her father's stead as [[Lord Chamberlain of Stone Bay]], speaking during the sitting of the [[Court of the Prismarine Throne]] where 10 individuals were selected to infiltrate the [[Arcane Battery]] within the Ehrtfort and kill [[Macadier Maldore]].

=== Beginnings of the Chamberlain ===

After Macadier Maldore was killed and the Colony of Nieseat fell, Malena became quite close with [[Dylan Malahide|Baron Dylan Malahide]]. Simultaneously, Malena had become quite overwhelmed with her new responsibilties of being a Baroness of Stone Bay ''(which gave her the title of "Lord Chamberlain")'', and eventually gave up her lordship in exchange for being knighted into [[The Most Noble Order of the Bay]]. After this, she married Dylan Malahide and became Malena Malahide.

Being her second marriage ''(the first being annulled)'', she believed she had found her forever partner. This feeling became cut short when Malena learned of her husband's acts of chronomancy, which led to her not only moving into the [[Prismarine Citadel]], but divorcing her husband and reporting him to the authorities ''(twice)''. This move into the Citadel eventually led to the rapid development of a ''"relationship"'' with the [[Prismarine Throne]], which would eventually lead to her becoming one of the five living persons who have touched the Throne and survived.

Much of Malena's life after returning to the name of Malena Lascelles became quite standard, with much of her time being spent confined to her office and home of the Citadel.

=== The 14th Prime Minister ===

As time passed, Malena eventually strived to return to her roots of being within [[The Parliament of Orlan]]. Starting off as a [[Magistrate]], Malena found herself as the Home Minister under the 13th Prime Minister of Stone Bay, [[Ghaunt Blazeborn]]. During this time, she presented 11 bills, 7 of which passed into law.

Though not originally intended, after Ghaunt admitted that he did not intend to run for Prime Minister again, Malena decided she wanted to take over. She sat as Prime Minister for two terms, during which time she presented 9 more bills, with 7 passing into law.

Shortly before the end of her second term as Prime Minister, Malena was given back her Lordship by King Ulysses I, naming her the ''"greatest living legislator of Stone Bay"'' during a sitting of the Prismarine Court.

After working tirelessly within the Parliament for three terms, Malena found herself exhausted and burnt out- despite her successes. After deciding to not run for a third term as Prime Minister, she refocused on her work as Lord Chamberlain. Though, during the term of the 16th Prime Minister, Malena sat as the Speaker of the House for a short time before the Parliamentary Session was unexpectedly dissolved at the request of the Prime Minister.

During her time within the Parliament, Malena had become quite close to [[Hazel Firwen]], who had taken back their position as [[Lord Mayor of the City of Stone Bay|Lord Mayor]]. The two had slowly grown from neighbors, to friends, to partners. Though they would never legally marry, a wedding ceremony and reception would be held- where the two would exchange their vows infront of their closest friends and family.

In the present day, Malena is often found within the Citadel, sitting at her office desk. Her days consist of writing laws and working towards finalizing the Kingdom's newest iteration of government. Though on her occasional breaks, she can be found walking laps around the City, or watching sparring sessions in the James Barker Arena.

== History ==
Eve Mountbatten did not begin as a Princess and instead began as a baker (and the granddaughter of [[Ulysses Mountbatten]], the then-Lord Mayor). She tried her hand at various groups and roles within the Kingdom, trying first at the Chancery of the Bay and later at the Royal Guard before finding her passion as a Royal Engineer. She travelled outside of the Karan Archipelago for several weeks during the height of the [[Nieseatian War]], expecting that the tensions between Karans and the Nieseatians would not spill into outright war while she was away. When she returned, she discovered that her grandfather and aunt had been sent to the Adredahn, and that Chaplain Sillas Deepcreek had declared himself the second King of Stone Bay; she helped conspire to bring back the three who had been sent away and defended the City against the inevitable Nieseatian response. She later participated in the Seige of the Ehrtfort and the battle against Metinos.

After the abdication of King Sillas and the accession of King Ulysses, Eve became a Princess of Stone Bay and second in line to the Throne behind her aunt, Princess Blue. She has dedicated herself to her Kingdom, its peoples, and learning to fill the shoes of those who have come before.

== History ==
Nothing is known about his life before Kara, but like many, Hixan originally arrived on boat to [[Kara]] soon after the [[Kingdom of Stone Bay]] first opened its ports. There is very little known of what Hixan got up to in his early life in Kara. According to some old journals and recounts, he was nomad who eventually got involved with a criminal group of banished knights called The Ashen Rose, and their plot against Stone Bay, and [[Arimaex Glisk]]. Supposedly Hixan assisted them in their escapades within the [[Living Sewers]] and beneath Arimaex's Tower, (tower name). These actions led him down a path which involved many risky decisions and deals, eventually resulting in his disappearance after meeting [[The Gambler]] and [[The Khan]].

===Nieseat===
Ten years after the events of [[Timeline#Season_1|Season 1]], a very different but familiar Hixan reappeared in Kara. Quickly he found a place to live, after an old acquaintance in [[Lyrinth]] told him of [[Nieseat]], [[The Ehrtfort]], and [[Macadier Maldore]]. Living in the colony gave him a simple life, with many people to call his friends, and work within the [[Ordenza]], the military of Nieseat. Hixan quickly rose through the ranks, sporting high strategic and combat prowess. While he trained the in early hours of the day, the later hours were spent with the leadership of the colony, particularly The Archon Macadier Maldore, which Hixan learned many things from. Through the months, Hixan became a very trusted resident of the Colony, alongside [[Bridget Maldore]].

Eventually, Macadier came to Hixan with a task. He handed Hixan a [[Soul Rending Dagger]], and instructed him to kill the Hag known as [[Morgantha]]. Hixan accepted, agreeing that the Hag was too chaotic and dangerous to be allowed to live. After months of gaining Morgantha's trust, he stabbed her in the back; stealing her soul away into the blade. The same day, Hixan betrayed and murdered [[Ordren Stoneheart]], who was carrying the [[Azure Blade]]. [[Sillas Deepcreek]] would soon find out this atrocity had taken place. The dagger was taken from Hixan, and he was sent back to the colony lucky to be alive himself. The Azure Blade too would eventually find its way back into Stone Bay's hands, after [[Benjamin Lascelles]] obtained it from Hixan.

===Freedom===
For an unknown reason, Hixan vanished from the colony, giving a short goodbye to The Archon before hiding elsewhere in Kara. A manhunt was headed by the Captain of the Ordenza [[Drace Latimeer]], who vowed to slay him for dereliction. The manhunt was halted a week or so later by order of The Archon. Hixan decided to hide away in the depths of Dhara in [[Stendahl]], laying low for the time being before finally catching a boat off Kara. It's said he wished to travel and see what the rest of the world had to offer, but Hixan did not leave for long.
