Hallcyon Craydark

Hallcyon Craydark currently serves as the Lord Treasurer of Stone Bay for the Kingdom of Stone Bay, in which he handles the finances for His Majesty, King Ulysses I, as well as handling the various finances for the kingdom.

Personality

In his time in Kara, he has shown to be socially averse, but headstrong. With an obsession with wheat and numbers, he is happy to share his interests with anyone who will listen. He is loyal to the Throne, and willing to do whatever it takes to protect it as well as those he cares about.

Coming from a noble family, as well as leading one, he values traditions and strong familial units. He does not wish for his family or peers to settle for less, and will stand up for such.

History

Prior to Kara, he came from a war-ridden country. He fought tirelessly in the One-Hundred-Year War, in which he helped his peers win. Afterwards, seeing he had nothing left for him, he left his home country to new horizons. While he has visited his country on occasion since, he is likely to never return to Triton due to residual politics.

Nieseatian War

Having arrived just a few months prior to the Nieseatian War, he found work in the Royal Bank of the Bay. He worked as the esquire for the bank, purchasing ores daily. With his hard work, he climbed the ladders within the bank, eventually becoming the Governor of the Royal Bank of the Bay. For a brief time, he worked alongside Elisa Malahide during the original Three Powers, which rivaled and mimicked Nieseat.

Then, when the Occupation of Stone Bay occurred on January 7th, he was forced to work Bridget Maldore, having the Royal Bank of the Bay forced from his hands. For the remainder of the war, he worked alongside others to reclaim Stone Bay.

Lord Treasurer of Stone Bay

After the Nieseatian War, he was promoted to Treasurer of Stone Bay, working alongside Malena Lascelles. For a few years, he worked to develop his role, collecting various taxes and fees. During this time, he served briefly on the Clergy of the Deep, later stepping down to pursue his Treasury career in full.

During this time, he lived in the prior Anglia Fields, a land expansive of wheat. There, he adopted his son, Taniguari Craydark. There, they went through various life events, such as the Soul Chess, as well as surviving Goldensong, thanks to Hixan Firwen. While Goldensong rampaged the Kingdom, House Craydark took refuge in the Citadel.

Afterwards some time, Wilhelm Craydark joined their house as Hallcyon's brother, in which they worked together both in Parliament, as well as the military.

Finally, and most recently, Hallcyon was promoted to Lord Treasurer of Stone Bay, in which he holds an unlanded title of Baron.

Appearance

Known for his striking appearance, he typically wears dark and tailored suits to contrast his complexion and hair. As tradition with House Craydark, he has many gold piercings, each one gained through difficult battles or events in life.
