The Barony of Grimwood is one of the longest standing peerages of the The Kingdom of Stone Bay. It was founded long ago by Blue and Henry Malahide, now Princess-Royal Blue Mountbatten and Henry Malcolm. Grimwood stayed within the Malahide family for 3 generations, passed down by the previous Baron/Baroness.

Currently, Baroness Delthena Maela rules over Grimwood.

Baroness Blue Malahide

Penshaw was established in 901 AJ, when the sons of the Mountbatten Family split off to create their own Branch Families. Henry and Blue, with their children Dylan and Caelum, chose the new last name Malahide and established Penshaw as their territorial home.

Penshaw was under construction for 10 years, and the gates of Penshaw opened up in 910 AJ. It was located on an island in the far west of Orlan. With Henry Malahide vanishing on a trip outside of Kara, Blue Malahide was in charge of the area and the residents that lived there. Dylan Malahide was named the Sheriff of the region to enforce the law within their boundaries.

When it came to the attention that people were not moving to Penshaw, since it was located very far from Stone Bay, Lord Mayor Ulysses Mountbatten offered to adopt Blue Malahide and make them his heir. Thus, Blue Malahide was once again Blue Mountbatten, and Penshaw was dissolved.

Baron Dylan Malahide

After his contributions to the Nieseatian War, Dylan Malahide was granted the title of Lord Malahide, granting the Malahide family their second stint in nobility. He was granted the island north of Stone Bay and given the former castle of Penshaw as his home. With this the name was changed to Grimwood.
