Edwin was a deeply insecure person who wanted to not have the marker of poverty on him. It became very clear to him that within Kara he could create who he was because they didn't know him. He was just Edwin, aggressive towards people that tried to ruin this.

History

Edwin grew up as an orphan in Dacia under a caretaker called the ‘Rat Catcher’. The Rat Catcher then brought him into the Figh. Edwin was known as someone that could find things, and he was very useful when Tarvisa started to help the Figh. Tarvisa gave a general direction for artifacts and Edwin pinpointed their location. Edwin and Tarvisa developed a close relationship because Tarvisa gave Edwin the opportunity to become more than just a thief, and he helped Edwin learn how to talk to people of higher status. Edwin was tasked to do things within the Figh because of his specialization, but because of this specialization he wasn’t a leader.

Edwin was a part of the group within the Cerwood and went in alongside Yvana and Yari to steal the Command Stone. After this they were running from DEW trying to hide and they made their way to Kara.

Time in Kara

Edwin played the role of an everyday guy that was way over their head. They got frustrated alongside the players because of what was happening. Pushed the player to find things out because he didn’t know information either. A less aggressive way to join the Figh than the other avenues.

At first he interacted like a regular Shopkeeper within Kara, reporting it all back to Yvana and Yari. He helped the Karans with rituals, found a temple on accident, guided people to find artifacts, and just a general public opinion improver for the Figh. When the plan to break Tarvisa out of the cell was enacted, he set chickens on the Royal Guard to distract them and pull DEW away from their ships. Started to label people against him as Cheats and Liars because he was too. Once everything was done he left Kara unceremoniously.
