Chancery of the Throne
History
The first iteration of the Chancery of the Throne was formed in the rising tensions just prior to the outbreak of the Nieseatian War. Alongside the Royal Guard and Royal Bank, the Chancery of the Throne served as the Kingdom of Stone Bay's response to the Nieseatian Tripowers system.
- The Chancery of the Throne served as a Baymen version of Nieseat's Old Blood.
The Chancery was the Bay's spies, informants, and bureaucrats, weaving a web of lies and deceit to keep the Nieseatian spies guessing. Led by Lord Chamberlain Blue Mountbatten and Lord Chamberlain Benjamin Lascelles, the Chancery managed the Bay's secrets. When Lord Chancellor Blue Mountbatten was snapped away during the January 7th Parliament, Chancery members merged into Nieseat's Old Blood and continued to spy.
After the death of the Archon and the defeat of Nieseat's Colony of the Ehrtfort, the Tripowers system was retired.
In the 37th Moon, His Majesty King Ulysses I announced the return of the Tripowers System. The Chancery of the Throne was reformed, merging groups such as the Royal Engineers, College of the Greyspire, Royal Academy at Duncaster, Registry Office, Stone Bay Gazette, and others to create the new Chancery of the Throne.
