Alaurus

The titan, Alaurus, is one of four worshipped titans around Olvunter. Though considered uncommon in the majority of the known world to worship titans over local gods, such a thing does exist. In Kara, Alaurus does not have an organized religion. The local followers tend to worship independently, as is fitting for their titan.

Alaurus is the Wind Titan who is believed to be the creator of the wind, weather, and the skies. Through collaboration with their fellow titans, Alaurus gave life to the elves and the winged beasts of the skies; most notably, dragons, created with the assistance of Tanignus. Eventually, Alaurus was abandoned by most of their creations, leaving only their vague whispers in the wind and their crumbling temples to be found by what remains of their followers, thus giving them the nickname "The Whisperer".

They are depicted as three strands of wind in most of their references, stemming from their smaller following. Alaurus is considered to be the most knowledgeable being in existence, which leads many of their followers to worship for the gaining of knowledge or growth. For others, they worship in hopes of good weather, growth in position, or to gain power or information. That being said, a true follower of The Whisperer is rare, as most just seek out their temples in hopes of finding ancient history, valuable artifacts, or achieving true pieces of extraordinary inspiration. It's those things that cause the remains of Alauran temples to constantly be sought out by explorers.
