Koibi Blackrock

Koibi Blackrock is the current Duchess of the Duchy of Stendahl. They inherited the Duchy during its days as a former kingdom from their grandfather, Bill Blackrock. They became the Underqueen on August 24th, 912 AJ.

Personality

Koibi Blackrock is the longest-standing peer in Kara, a leader shaped by experience and known for their calm strength and steady presence. Conscientious and sensible, they have become a cornerstone of the Duchy of Stendahl, guiding it with a gentle but unwavering hand. Loyal to the Kingdom and devoted to their people, Koibi works tirelessly to cultivate unity, believing that true leadership is rooted in service, empathy, and the courage to stand for what is right.

Outside their office, Koibi is kind, cheerful, and mature—a steady presence who brings warmth and joy into the lives of those around them. Their easygoing nature and quiet humor shine through when not bound by duty, and they believe strongly in balancing responsibility with personal fulfillment. Always open to new ideas, they welcome diverse perspectives with patience and sincerity, growing more deeply rooted in their values with each passing year. Loyalty, in particular, has become central to their worldview, both as a political tenet and a personal bond.

History

Koibi moved to Kara at the age of 18 alongside two of their adoptive siblings. Settling down in the former city of Zabava, they spent much of their early days in Kara farming and building, keeping to themself. It was during this time that they were adopted by the Krumbles family and became acquainted with the Blackrock family and Stendahl, officially becoming Bill's grandchild.

They began their journey with Stendahl at 28, years after the defeat of Arimaex and the recovery of Dhara, as a Thane to The Yord's Chosen, the former head of Moder's Embrace. With this position, they became familiar with the Earthen Ethos and grew quickly into a Huscarl. This catapulted them into becoming involved, and soon ranked, into the numbers of the Iron Legion. The jump from Lieutenant to Commander came quite quickly due to their growing experience.

It was December 1st, 911 AJ that they were officially adopted by the Blackrock family and made into an Underprincess. Just over a month later, they were officially named as the "Heir to the Earthen Crown", after their mother became unfit to remain heir any longer.

They were placed in charge of the then Kingdom during the occupation alongside Corellian Towerlord, as their grandfather had to take time away, which is where much of their present-day skills as Duchess were developed. Their place as Underprincess remained through even more battles; The Siege of Nieseat, the Battle of Metinos, and Moder Yord's Invasion being the big ones. Until finally, one evening, their grandfather decided he was ready to retire, thus leading to the crowning of Underqueen Koibi Blackrock.

As Underqueen, they led their residents through several more conflicts, including the "Fall of Felanah", which brought the kingdom to Orlan. To blend better with the culture of the island, they merged with the The Kingdom of Stone Bay, becoming The Duchy of Stendahl, granting Koibi their title of "Duchess". They keep their title of 'Underqueen' as an honorarium, thanking them for the work and dedication they had put towards Kara as a whole.

This is where they remain present-day.
